I kind of think of the Hamsa tattoo as a trend since 2012. I remember people coming in and wanting the hand of the evil eye, but most people never referred to the image by name. However, before we dig into this please don’t forget that Tattoo Tuesday happens EVERY Tuesday! In the event that an #INKPLAY report isn’t shared here but you want to read more, something colorful is always shared on #supportLIPS blog. Be sure to stop by, often!

I don’t have many hamsa under my belt. I have never been a fan of marking images if a client doesn’t know it’s meaning and wants it merely for trend. However, this one was special and fun!

Though I was given creative license, I was guided by my customer about what she’d like included in her hams (and why!). I cannot share too much from her tattoo as it is indeed for her but you can always research and create your own. Let’s dig in! <3
